The green reader is currently having a temper tantrum and I'm putting myself in time out. I need to go back to the drawing board on how to communicate book club with you since the blog is confusing everyone or maybe i am confusing everyone. Either way, there is confusion and the green reader doesn't like confusion.
For those who have finished the book, that's great! Please post your comments on the book to this blog so everyone can see how much you enjoyed it and how you are applying it to your work life, and even everyday life (thank you Rachel for your awesome comment). Each office should get together with those in your specific office who have signed up for the book club. The original plan was to do this on Friday, but it doesn't have to be. Each office, get together and pick a date that works within the next 2 weeks and then tell your Director I said that lunch was on Steve (they'll put it on their company AMEX). Do a couple of things for me at this meeting:
1. Choose a book club captain
2. book club captain, collect the email addresses of each person who is attending book club (they do not have to be Schlesinger emails, they can be personal).
3. Discuss the book and take notes.
4. Team Captain, email me your notes with the list of email addresses and i will post them to the blog for all to see.
I'll be facing the wall with my nose in the corner for now. Once i have a new brilliant brainiack (is this a word???) plan, I'll be back!
